Location
We are located 20 miles west of Cardiff, and south of Bridgend in Glamorgan, South Wales. 5 miles from J35 of the M4, and 2.5 miles from the main line railway at Bridgend. Cardiff airport is approximately 10 miles away.
Getting Here
By Train
Take First Great Western main line train to Bridgend. The station is about a three mile walk from the campsite. Alternatively a taxi fare is about £4.00.
By Bus
The nearest bus station is located in the centre of Bridgend close to the train station.
By Car
- Leave the M4 at J35 and head towards Bridgend.
- At the 3rd roundabout, take the second exit
- Continue straight across the following mini roundabout (with carwash on left).
- At next roundabout, take 1st exit (signposted to Ogmore-by-Sea).
- After ¾ mile take 1st turning on right (New Inn Road).
- Continue for approximately ¾ mile and take 1st turning on left signposted to Merthyr Mawr.
- Drive through Merthyr Mawr village and continue for a mile until you reach the car park for Merthyr Mawr Warren.
- The entrance to the campsite is to the left of the entrance to the car park.
